  I have been having singing lessons at The Old Music Mill since January '17 with Christine. To begin with, I was very shy, nervous and had very little confidence. I wanted to try singing as a hobby and possibly pursue it as a career (I didn't think I was good enough to pursue it professionally). A year on and I am now looking to sing professionally, I have performed four times already in public - one time was performing at the Biddulph Xmas Lights Switch On! If you'd have said that to me in January I wouldn't have believed you!
  
  Over time, Christine has worked with me and helped me to gain control over my voice and taught me techniques to help maintain a strong vocal basis in which to take it further into a career. She has improved my voice so much, I have reached notes in my voice that I only dreamed of before! She is absolutely amazing and is the loveliest lady you will ever meet, we are constantly laughing in our lessons, I adore her - there is a reason I have been going for the best part of a year!
  
  I have also worked with Chris in the studio and recorded a few songs on a CD- another person at The Old Music Mill that I feel cannot do enough for you- he goes above and beyond to help you on your way to your music career. In the studio session with Chris I was not only made to feel comfortable and relaxed, but Chris was also on hand to offer advice, information and anything I needed in terms of music, career advice, the industry etc. He really knows his stuff! He is also a lovely, genuine man who clearly cares so much about what he does, it is this passion that inspires everyone around him. If you have any reservations whatsoever about choosing this studio/music school for yourself or for your son or daughter, then don't - it is the best in Staffordshire, the quality of teaching is superb, all tutors are fully accredited (a lot of them aren't) by the appropriate bodies. You won't find a better quality music school elsewhere in Staffordshire for the price.
